Last modified: 22/11/15 Print PDFI am delighted to signify the launch of the IrishPeriodicalof Paramedicine, with the first issue scheduled for publication in June 2016. Available online at www.irishparamedicine.com The IrishPeriodicalof Paramedicine (IJP) is an unshut access, peer-reviewed, international periodical defended to up-and-coming and promoting the science of prehospital clinical care, research, education, policy, management and operational delivery, with a focus on Irish research. An editorial workbench has been assembled comprising of experienced and enthusiastic paramedics, physicians, educators and academics. The IrishPeriodicalof Paramedicine (IJP) will publish manuscripts from the unstipulated prehospital setting that are of various methodologies and lengths. The periodical will publish scientifically sound research tent all areas of prehospital-based research, plane if they have low study numbers and have found negative outcomes. The editors will consider wares that may not get published in other journals to promote all types of research outcomes for the good of the greater prehospital superintendency community. The periodical will winnow manuscripts covering, but not limited to: clinical practice, prehospital and paramedic education, remote and rural practice, specialised roles, theory and practice of paramedicine, clinical updates, specimen studies, subject reviews, policy, service delivery, and management. One of the main aims of the IJP is to reduce the loss to the research polity when studies remain unpublished on the understructure of small sample size, limited usefulness, scientific whop or level of interest. The IJP therefore provides a repository for short publications, specimen series, incremental updates to previous work, results of individual experiments, results of confirmatory and ‘negative’ results, and similar material that currently lacks a suitable repository.
